888i bet login password: why it is rejected and how to reset it

The 888i password is one password for the whole account — betting, slots and cards — so "bet login password" and "login password" are the same thing. If it is rejected, first rule out the wrong number, an autofilled password from another site and a copy of the lobby. If it still fails, tap Forget password under the gold Login bar and reset it through the mobile number on the account; the SMS code lands on that SIM.
Nobody else needs to be involved. A reset is between you, the lobby's own screen and your SIM card.

Why does 888i say my password is wrong?
Four causes explain most rejected passwords. Check them before resetting, because a reset you did not need can lock you out for a while if the code is requested too many times.

If two or three wrong attempts have already gone in, wait a few minutes before the next one.
How do I reset an 888i password?
- 1Open the lobby's sign-in screen yourself — not through a link someone sent.
- 2Tap Forget password, on the left under the Login bar.
- 3Enter the mobile number registered on the account.
- 4Request the SMS code and type it on the same screen.
- 5Choose a new password, enter it twice, and save.
- 6Go back to Login and sign in with the new password.
If Forget password does nothing on your phone — the screen does not change when you tap it — resets on that build may run through support instead. In that case sign in on another device where you are still logged in and look under Account at the bottom of the lobby, or use the support entry the lobby itself shows. Do not go hunting for a number elsewhere.
What if I no longer have the registered number?
Then the reset stalls, and no trick gets round that. A reset code goes to the registered SIM and nowhere else.
- If the SIM was lost or stolen, ask your mobile operator for a replacement SIM on the same number. Once it is active, the reset works as normal.
- If the number was given up long ago, the operator may have handed it to someone else. Then the decision sits with support inside the lobby, usually after checking details only the owner would know.
- Do not open a second account with a new number "for now". Many lobbies treat two accounts held by one person as a reason to close both.
Should I call an 888i customer care number from search?
No. Numbers pasted into search results, comments and video descriptions are the usual way accounts get taken. The script is always similar: a friendly voice offers to reset the password, then asks you to read out the six digits your phone just received. That code is the reset. Whoever has it can choose the next password.
A real reset never needs you to say a code aloud, share your screen or install a "support" app.
How do I choose a password that lasts?
The registration screen shows a strength bar as you type, and the same rules make a good reset:
- at least ten characters, mixing words and digits;
- not your phone number, birthday or User ID;
- not a password you use for email or UPI;
- written down once somewhere offline if you tend to forget.
Bookmark the lobby on the day you reset, and sign in from the bookmark from then on.
